It has been more than a week since Typhoon Ondoy and people are a bit more relaxed now. But, honestly, relief efforts shouldn’t stop here. There are still areas flooded, lots of evacuation centers in need of food and medicine. Just a couple of days ago, I saw my friends desperately looking for a place to volunteer. I hope it continues. I hope we don’t slowly fall back to old habits.
